Hi everyone!
Just finished the development and testing of the Redline Alert tool for background monitoring of who's in the game. Unlike several other tracker tools that just refresh the page every now and then, this one makes an effort to present information nicely and basing on the list of friends' names that you enter, give you heads up when they come into multiplayer.
This initial version is all I really need myself, but I will be adding some other features to it (like Growl notifications, sound alarms etc) a bit later. Ok, enough buzz, here we go:

P.S. To avoid confusion -- see the checked flag in the menu bar (next to your clock) changing states when your friends come online

COLORS AND BADGES GUIDE
To do colors and badges, you must enter these codes in your Redline Preferences. It's a file located in ~/Library/Preferences/.
Open it with Text Edit.
Color codes:
w=white
l=black
y=yellow
g=green
r=red
d=grey
b=blue
m=pink
c=cyan
n=changes with your car
Press alt + shift + 0 to get the ≠ letter.
So if I want red and blue name, I must change my name in the preferences file to playerName "≠#r≠Ale≠#b≠ksi"

You can use pictures from Redline data folder too, these are some examples:
